Default Corroded connections

I just got the headlight and clocks off and some of the plugs were a swine to separate, they're all grey and corroded....

Should I spray with WD40 or does the .org have anything better in mind?

give them a very light smear with some grease- done it with mine and haven't had stuck connectors since.

if they are very greyed i give em a bit of a rub with fine grade wet and dry too, just so the connections are connecting well.

Contact cleaner and even Cillit Bang have been recommended . With contacts I don`t like to spray loads of stuff in there , I prefer to spray it into the lid of the can and apply it to contacts with a cotton bud in case you cause further problems with swamping connections with fluid .
