Just wondering what size the bulbs are. For your speedo and rev ****er. Read a few posts and there seems to be some debate, both as to. the V & W
Cheers! |

Cheers m8. Will I get them from halfords? Also, am I missing something, or do you have to almost stip the front of the bike to get them out lol. I've got the clocks in me hand now and can't believe the destruction I've caused to get at them in the garage!!!!!

Ok, sorry but I appear to be stuck lol..........how do I get to the bluddy bulbs. I have the clocks off, took all the screws out the back, took the cover off the front, so I'm now lookin at the naked clocks with the soldered rear cover. I've also took the screws out the soldered cover, but I'm not sure if this needs to come off, or the clock fronts? So much for a 30 second job lol , me bikes in bits!!!!!

Shakie, yes they will do. If you get the ones with holders, then make sure they are the correct holders. There are 2 kinds, i always get the worng ones. I now just by the capless bulbs and fit them in the holders. Dont go the LED route as there isnt an LED on the market that works better than a incandecent bulb. You get 'hotspots' and not enough spread of light.
As for fitting, i have only done it on a faired curvey which is NOT a 30 second job as you have to remove the entire front fairing, screen, wing mirrors, clocks etc etc Last edited by Viney; 08-09-09 at 12:01 PM. |

RE fitting: yes, everything comes off.
