Ok despite having a lot on at the mo im contemplating building a shed for the bike. Now theres 2 things here,
1. ive got a very very small back yard (about the size to fit 3 bikes in max, its on a slope and is uneven) 2. ive never built a shed before. So any advice? |

Employ someone who has built a shed before.

As in put a base down then bought a shed and put it together? Or bought a pile of timber and knocked something up of your own design?

![]() ![]() best to start with a level base, lay either a concrete base or use old paving slabs depending on the weight oh the shed, i personally would used a concrete base |

yep defiantly, i've started scratch building at shed down the side of my house but i keep getting sidetracked by something else, simply fenced off the base area with some old 4x2 i had laying about, then dropped in some concrete and levelled it off. I've treated and run 4x2 battens across the concrete as im putting a floor in but you can just build up off the concrete |
