Default Best thing you've ever won?

I just won the first thing I've ever won for as far as I can remember....through pure idiocy

Went to get some cash to buy lunch, got to the cashmachine & realised there was a coop attached - went in the coop bought my lunch and went to pay on card, asked for cash back. Bloke said min. spend £5; but I wasn't really concentrating so instead of just paying on card and getting cash for free outside like a normal person, I bought a scratch card. Won £10!

Just made me wonder if other people ever win stuff?

A years free nappies on a AOL competition, when you see how many babies use, this is like winning the lotto.

Also bought a car at auction for £50, found a fiver in the sun visor, bought a lotto ticket & won £10! Sold the car to a scrappie for £50 too

A trip to New York. Seriously. In a running magazine. I'd gone to Sainsbos to fetch some milk and the magazine was there on the rack with a flyer on the cover 'Win a trip to New York'. I bought the mag, filled in the easypeasy quezzies, sent it off and forgot about it, until the editor called me on 28 August 2002 and told me that I'd won. With entry into the New York City marathon, my first. 9-11 came and went and nobody knew if the race would take place, but it did, I ran it, and finished in 3 hours 53 minutes

OK there are some people considerably luckier than me..but I'm happy with my mediocre luck. I seem to have just had one of those days that's gone right, think I've bagged a pizzahut discount too cause on the way home - I saw a street triple that's always parked outside the hut getting a ticket so I rang up to warn the guy
