Default First Cat n Fidde run.

Well i did my first cat n fiddle run this evening , for those that know the area, did a left at Bosley cross rd's and joined the cat at the end of the straight.

Thoughts, Hmmm, i can see why peeps like it, but think i need a little more confidence before attempting it again, Miss Daisy would have got there and back quicker

Didn't help as i got to the Walker barn area, was two Police cars and a mx5 parked with 2 bikes leaning against a sign, but NO sign of any bikers and 4 old bill walking about.

Doesn't feel as deadly as they make it out to be does it? It's an alright road, but there's often five-o out on a day like this. There's been quite a lot out around macc. over the past two weeks I'd say.

Maybe I'll see the attraction when I'm a little older, wiser, more experienced and well, erm... faster.

Its only deadly when your trying to hard to keep up with someone that you cant...

To many police in marked and unmarked vehicles on that road for my liking, infact most of the Peaks is like that now.

Agree with what G's said. I think it's a fantastic road, I love tight corners.... yet I've only ever done it twice - all cops & nobbers just put me off the idea.

I did it for the first time on the Peeks ride out

Even though i loved the road i felt that i was holding people up as i felt that i was going at walking pace but instead of trying to go at there pace i let them pass and caught them up at the cafe !!!!

It is a confidence builder and i will be going back
