If you are feeling flash you coudl go for the gt25 Logitech best wheel out there PC and PS3 friendly but costs above £120. I have a GT Force (red and black) PC version but is compatble with the PS3. Great whell and great fun

Formula force EX by logitech is what I have and use it daily with no problems in LFS (PC racing game which is awesome) and in Prologue on the PS3. it force feedback and has brake and accelerate analogue pedals. As with most logitech stuff I have it is really robust and excellent at what it does. I think they are around £50-£60. The G25 is also Logitech but is a whole different level of build quality. It has leather trim, 900degrees of rotation. 3 steel pedals so you can have clutch as well. A gear stick which can either be gated or sequential. I have used one and they are awsome but couldnt justify the price to my wife at the time (£159.99) There a bit cheaper now because the G27 is out at £309!

You might wanna check the specs on this as I know I said it has a gated system but I cannot swear to that.

G25 (and its replacement) are the best. Really nice wheel, great pedals, and H-pattern shifter (seperate from the wheel so you can mount it all how you like).
play.com did an offer recently where you could pick one up for £100. Since Rog mentioned it, LFS is great btw, if you have a half decent pc and you get a G25 it's virtually the law to have LFS installed. www.lfs.net |
