FI Fault
On the way home tonight the bike suddenly cut out, showing F1 blinking. After a few tries the bike wouldnt start always showing the F1, but just as the van arrived to take me home (about 40 minutes later) the F1 went away and the bike started and is now running again. The problen is though it could happen again at any time so really need to find and fix the problem, does anyone know what this code is. Thanks.

Discovered there is lots of things it could be so got it into dealer mode but because its running ok now the code is c00 which means all is well. So how do you track down a problem that isnt there?

Most likely a loose or corroded wiring connection somewhere
