The most stupid thing ever seen on a bike - SV650.org

Walking down to the station to catch the train to work this morning, when I was passed by a bike which turned into the station car park, clearly dropping the pillion off. Nothing too strange about that, however....

Rider wearing full kit; boots, gloves, leather jeans, textile jacket and a lid.

Pillion wearing heels, a short skirt, suit jacket and carrying a handbag over each shoulder. No protective clothing whatsoever, including no lid.

Doesn't matter how short the journey, imo there is no excuse for that whatsoever, especially as they were travelling down a main road at the time I saw them.

Saw a guy yesterday on a Fireblade....helmet,t-shirt,normal thin trousers, and trainers!

gets my goat like, adults out riding with their children and their children are wearing a helmet but they are not,

It's the first time I've ever seen someone on the road without a lid, other than the local chavs with unregisted, taxed or insured dirt bikes.

I once saw a guy (in full textile kit) carrying his fishing gear with the rod protruding from his rucksack all ready to go. Even had a float up near the tip. It was probably 4-5ft above his head.

Never seen that before, but I have carried a couple of golf clubs on me back.
