Walking down to the station to catch the train to work this morning, when I was passed by a bike which turned into the station car park, clearly dropping the pillion off. Nothing too strange about that, however....
Rider wearing full kit; boots, gloves, leather jeans, textile jacket and a lid. Pillion wearing heels, a short skirt, suit jacket and carrying a handbag over each shoulder. No protective clothing whatsoever, including no lid. Doesn't matter how short the journey, imo there is no excuse for that whatsoever, especially as they were travelling down a main road at the time I saw them.

It's the first time I've ever seen someone on the road without a lid, other than the local chavs with unregisted, taxed or insured dirt bikes.

I once saw a guy (in full textile kit) carrying his fishing gear with the rod protruding from his rucksack all ready to go. Even had a float up near the tip. It was probably 4-5ft above his head.
