Default Where Can I Get Parts For My SV650S?? Please Help

I have the pointy SV650S K3, I’m looking for a good web site or shop I can call to order some spares.

Iv looked all over for bits and can’t see any; there are loads for the curvy or a GSXR but none about for the Pointy SV.

I have had a quote from my local Suzuki dealer, however I can’t stand the guy, he's an ignorant rip-off merchant and I really don’t want to spend my money there.

Can Anyone help me, I’m looking for:

Top Fairing (around the headlight)
Lower Fairing complete (both Sides)
Speedometer casing (back cover)

Please please can someone point me in the right direction.

Cheers

Have you tried another dealer?....or ebay or svspares.com or simply the wanted section on this forum?

I have tried other Suzuki dealers but they all seam very expensive, if you look at other bikes GSXR for example you can get the bits form the dealers but also from many other people much cheaper, the Suzuki dears are always more expensive.

I have looked on E-bay and the wanted section but I’m looking for new parts my bike was immaculate before and I would like back to how it was, I don’t mind paying a higher price for new bits but I don’t want to pay a premium just for the sake of it.

Iv just had a look at SV spares.com, Thank you I wasn’t aware of that one. They seam to have lots of bits but still the main faring bits are not listed. Theirs must some one has them listed.

Cheers

If you are looking for new replacements you might have to swallow the dealer prices.

Thanks for the twinshack.co.uk link. Iv seen this one before but its for the curvy model, I have the newer pointy model. Thank you any way

Its looking more like in gona have to shell out for the main dealer prices it just pains me, if I had another bike there are loads of places to get bits at competitive prices.

Iv not given up just yet, I’m gona keep looking.

Search eBay for: sv lowers, sv fairing, sv cowl, sv plastic, sv panel... That should cover most bases for people descriptions.

If you don't mind waiting a little while, something useful usually comes up on there.

Also consider buying lightly damaged stuff or stuff in the wrong colour, and getting it resprayed. This can often be a cheaper option.

Regards
Phil

Hey Aero

If you want new parts my friend, then a dealer is the only way to go, unless you are paitent and wait for stuff on ebay. Just remember if you buy stuff off ebay and then have to get it painted, it will work out cheaper to buy new dealer sourced parts. SV paint is expensive.
