Default wiring , identification of part please.

right think i have a second hand loom on way to me but been looking at my wife's loom again been through all the wires with a wiring diagram and cant find any thing wrong apart from this little box with one black wire with no where to go , does any one know what this little white box is and purpose see attached pic.bike ran fine before i took alarm off is it possible alarm Way masking a problem? cheers Craig

k4 sv 650 naked (The wifes )

you can just see the white box with black cap has the black wire coming out and the other wires in the block are black n white 5 of.

every thing works on bike but no fuel pump!

do you now if the loom had anything done to it before you owned it. for example had a alarm fitted

yes i took alarm off looked simple as i dint have to break any connection as the alarm was just tagged to wires , removed it very carefully but some how ended up with one left with no where to go it's been a night mare....

grim the only thing i would do now is use a haynes manule and go thourhgt all the wires untill i find one that is missing or have a look at one in another bike apart from that im clueless

that one wire is prob the Ing live to the fuel pump! it ataches to another wire the same colour, i came across this when i removed my datatool 3 from my bike, if i was nearer i would come and ave your bike started in minutes!

just some sort of aux plug! ive got two in the tail and one in the nose they dont seam to do anything mayby for aftermarket stuff??

the black box (center in pic) with 4 wires, from what i remember is a common earth bridge, take the cap off and there should be a peice of metal bridging all connections

white 2 wire connector is usualy the rear numberplate light

in a sec ile go and get the pointy loom i have in the shed
