Default Classic Yamaha restoration - parts identification help if you can.

have a 1964 yamaha mj2 55cc and i am really struggling to get parts if i upload pics can anyone help me please. looking at it it looks the same get up as a fs1e but i dont wanna take the chance in buying stuff just for trial and error. help

What makes you think the SV forum is going to be able to help ya?

List the parts you need i may know a guy who can find the right parts, but these old bikes are hard to find parts for so therefore its quite expensive.

Oh and welcome to the SV650 forum.

now play nice there madness, if my mate has got any parts for that bike i get an amazing commission since its a classic and not many people keep them old bike parts

this is a true classic and very rare so it must be a dear bike to buy lol piece of history lol

dont mean to sound funny but have you spoke to your local yam dealer ,first they can check if they can get some of the parts from the factory, also they genrally know who the clasic and yam breakers are
