Hey guys did a search for any threads but noone seems to have asked about hid kits for sv's. Does anyone know of a company or somebody selling one as I dnt find the standard sv lights very good. Has anyone found a way of boosting them like putting in 75w bulbs or something else?
Thanks Déjà_vu |

Osram nightbreakers or Philips X-treme Power, I had the phillips and found them great, Taipan posted this link a couple months back:
http://www.powerbulbs.com/blog/index...night-breaker/ Both of these are fine as they wont melt the plastic. HID kits are great but well outta my price range. Edit, this thread is good: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...highlight=Bulb Last edited by 5hort5; 29-11-09 at 12:34 AM. |

curvy or pointy? The lamps are the same iirc however the lenses on the pointy are very good, especially with nightbreakers. If you still want hids then try www.hids4u.co.uk. Use the code STRATHY to get a good discount

Maybe you could cut the back out of the dominators.
Or run one permanant low beam HID in one side (so there is space in back because no hi/dip solenoid) and one normal H4 main/dip in other side?

^ i did think about that both options main problem is on full beem they are to high on low beem they are just right and as normal beam in used most of the time its set up so that the high beem is to high i may look in to it thogh as i would like some stupidly powerful lights to light up all of the road at night and not just a bit.
