Default Tonsillitis

I went out yesterday for Boxing Day festivities around 9 in the evening and told the Badgeress I wasn`t going to get hammered or anything . We met up with friends and my first pint tasted awful . The Badgeress tasted it and she said it was fine , I put it down to having just brushed my choppers with copious amounts of Colgate and swilled my yap with Plax . About 10 minutes later I have got a serious sweat on , my forehead is shiny and I`m even sweating behing my ears . We leave the pub and walk to another one and everyone complains about the cold , cold , COLD ? IT`s BLOODY TROPICAL . A few mates keep asking me if I am fine and I soldier on with a few more brews and even a pint of water . We see everybody off to Taxis and walk back to the Badgeresses flat . We have something to eat and go to bed ............

I wake up about 4 in the morning and I am absolutely shivering and covered in sweat . I make it to the Loo by following the walls with my hands and get back in bed , the Badgeress asks me what that clicking noise is and I manage to tell her it`s my teeth amongst spasms of shivering and dithering . My ears are killing me like I have snored a good `un and I am starting to suspect this is something more than being a bit cold and shivery . I wake up a little bit later and visit the bathroom again and seem to get lost in the flat , the Badgeress has had enough and comes to find me , I can`t even speak to her and she feels my forehead and bundles me back into bed unceremoniously . I have some recollection of her bringing me warm Ribena . She went out and got me some soluble paracetomol to gargle with and a nice tub of Ben and Jerries . I have never had this before but everytime I swallow it is like trying to swallow my own windpipe as it drags my ears down into my Larynx . I have also had some Tyrozets and Beechams every 4 hours or so with regular tepid brews and I am sweating like a Glass Blowers ar$e , I sound like I am on helium when I talk and the Dog looks at me strange when I tried to tell her to get in her bed . I`ve broken plenty of bones in my life and you know what ? I`d rather break a bone than have this , I do feel sorry for those of you that suffer from this on a regular basis .
