I saw this somewhere else before and its not some kid who went for a noyride in his daddy's car. Its the guys car and he kinda knows the bikers iirc and he was just out having a play.

Driving fast on a relatively straight motorway doesn't take that much skill. Chuck in a few tight 2nd gear corners with the odd decreasing radius and maybe some bumps that set in a bit of oscillation on the entry to a long fast sweeper and see how he copes with that.
