Being ugly is a privilege, that bike abuses that privilege.

One of my mates ratted a CBR1000F, it even made it to the hallowed pages of ratbike.org along with my old CB250RS

and my CB250RS

Haha, that's class.

My tank and all the bodywork was covered in black duct tape. The bike hadn't been washed in at least 5 years of being ridden all year round and the grey bits down the forks, that's 2mm deep corrosion. The frame had rusted through in a couple of places - behind the shock absorber mount at the rear and under the engine where the sidestand/footrest hanger bolted. I cba to weld the footrest/sidestand bit, so I just welded up behind the shocker.

That bike used to commute 100 miles daily between Bedford and Slough for a year, it had 136,000 miles when I got it given to me, and I gave it away to anther mate with 192,000 miles on the clock. It's since been restored by a young lad and his dad, so the lad could learn about how bikes work:

They've done a wonderful job considering the state of it before.

rat bikes are allowed to be ugly. Releasing it from the factory that ugly tho took a lot of guts from BMW...and even more honesty from the seller. But he's right that it wont get nicked

Nor will my Versys.

I'm on the Versys forum, you never ever hear about one of the member's bikes getting stolen.
