Default The Right Or Wrong Way.

My brother recently had new pads and discs on his car and the opinion of people is that the discs are on the wrong way. So I thought I'd put it to the org where there is more knowledgeable people who will know the answer.

So are they on the right or wrong way? Thanks.

TBH driving round Mcdonalds car park at 2mph won't stress the discs all that much anyway

I suppose technically they are; that curved grove would be better the other way, since it would provide a "leading edge" so to speak.

I think you'll find it makes sod all difference.

Unless the way they're fitted offends the owners eyes, leave it alone.

So there isn't a right or wrong way then. I thought car discs were like tyres as in there's a certain way that they go. I will pass on the message to my brother.

You mean she doesn't gain speed when you apply pressure on the brakes?

Having fitted loads of front discs on various cars over the years, i have to say i havent come across a single set which could be fitted 'wrong'.
They have a turned area which sits over the hub, so looks like a top hat, that makes it impossible to put on the wrong way.
Ok, dont know about all cars' discs but most i would presume are like the way i have described.

If that were the case, they would be clearly marked.
