Default Subframe powder coating?

How much do you think it would cost to get a curvy subframe powder coated?

Darren, did you strip the paint off and take it back to metal yourself?

ok, i wonder if I clean it all up and take the paint off and pop some bolts into the threads then I may get it a bit cheaper, worth a go as I have some striper around here somewhere and a few spare bolts (old crap ones)

yer it all adds up though 30 quid for that bit but there's a fairly long list of other things I want to do so if I can save say a tenner on this job and some money on indicators and then a few quid on fitting brake lines etc etc I can afford to buy say a stainless engine bolt set. Look after the pennies and etc etc

you wont save money, they will still have to blast it prior to coating or the coat will not take properly.

start with the hard to reach places first, then add to the bike over time. that is if you plan on keeping it.

Triple S are very good and are motorcycle specialists, they'll mask all the threads for you and wrap it in bubble wrap before sending it back. You can find them on google. I just had a pile of stuff done, very happy.
