Default Gel pad seat adaptation

Fellow Orgers

I've been promising myself a seat upgrade for ages now and it's high time I got on with it. Previously I'd had a recommendation for a chap in York (I think) who does this sort of thing but I've lost the details...

Has anyone had gel inserts added to their stock seat? If so who did you use and were they any good?

TIA.

The seat on my naked curvy kills me after just 20-30 miles. I might have to go this route too. Anyone had one done by him? Pleased? What did it cost?

Miss Ophic had the seat on her Honda Shadow sculpted by him. He quoted £30 for this on the phone, but when it came time to pay, she gave him a nice smile and it ended up at £20 . A gel pad would cost a little extra, I suppose - but the job he did on the seat was very good.

If you go there in person, his workshop is also right next to a cinema - so you can drop off your seat, go watch a film, and collect it on the way out (if he's not busy). Essex is a bit far for this though
