Default bloody women!

ok i've had the lass on the back of the bike recently and hings went well (we got upto the heady heights of 35 mph and covered about 5 miles ) anyhow i thourght it would be nice to get her a jacket as a bit of a pressie.

so when i presented her with a nice jacket (looks all womenyfied and such) why does she throw a wobbeler saying it makes her back look funny (its got a ce protector in there) and give her big shoulders. why doestn she just say thanks or it doesnt fit! grrr

anyhow just out of curiosity does anyone know of any womens bike jackets that fit well (textiles) and dont give you large shoulders?

As JediGoat - it's what she does for a living.

and, btw, women don't have the monopoly on being ungrateful.

It's either protection or style I'm afraid mate.

Leathers + a rain mac when it rains might be more suited to her maybe?

I don't like my textile jacket as it makes me look bigger than I am (and I'm not just saying that)

The problem is she will be use to how her other jackets fit her, I know its a completly different style of jacket. Go and return the jacket and take her with you for her to pick.....

by the way you can only do a few things to please us!

Just tell her it's not the jacket - she's too fat

Seriously, there's some really nice kit out there for girlies. Ixon do some nice stuff. I get the problem that my lass is too small for most of it - the knee pads end up round her ankles (without persuasion ).

Some textile gear is very unflattering though. Just take her with you, as suggested. It has to fit right, and it has to look right as well. And try as you might, you will never get it right on your own
