Default Digi clocks from a pointy on a curvy

Hi

I got a 2000 naked curvy and me clocks have died Can I use any SV650 clocks specifically digi's or do I have to stick to curvy analogues?

Cheers

Check the power feed, mine corroded and the clocks no longer worked, bought new clocks and they didn't work either!

Went through the wiring loom with a multimeter and the main feed to the clocks had died, fixed that and the clocks suddenly worked!

Pointy clocks have been fitted to a curvy before.

Someone on here did it (sid squid I think but may be wrong).

Use the search option and you should find it.

I'm sure it is the clocks. A while back the rev counter started going nuts, now it has settled at a static 4k. Now the speedo is going nuts too and often decides not to work. Took her in to my local garage to sort out a wiring issue behind headlight (which they fixed) and clocks still buggered. They think clocks.

doesn't it depend on the model though? I can see physically that a naked pointy should fit a naked curvy but faired versions?

Anything is possible if you apply yourself

T'was indeed me. I wired the pointy clocks that Big Ape, (now Stig Of The Dump), fitted to his curvy.
I have a list somewhere of the connections, I shall find it a post it up.
There are a few things to be aware of though - it's not a direct swap. And depending on which model pointy clocks you get the fuel light may or may not function as it did originally.
