Hi, I know at least a few are into pushbikes so I'd like some recommendations please.
Looking at a hybrid or mountain bike, will be riding roads / tracks and some off road stuff, need something versatile. Front suspension is ok but I can't get on with rear Halfords have the GT Aggressor XC3 cheap and I'm off to look at a decathlon rockslider 5.3 looking at spending no more than £300 thanks |

I'm not up on mountain bikes these days, but used to race road bikes ...
On a limited budget you are right to ignore rear suspension ..... should be a few last years bikes deals out there too at the moment ...... and don't get sucked in by 'a high spec' .... get yourself something quality but basic .... I used to have a basic Scott, and it rode great .... Only had a 2 second look ..... but something like this .... http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Diamond-Back...-MTB_24180.htm Last edited by LK-SV; 27-02-10 at 01:14 PM. |

Have a look at the entry level GT hybrids, some of them have front suspension and they are very good bikes.
The Carrera's although they are halfords brand are pretty high specced for the money and they have a few deals on at the moment. Just ordered a Boardman Hybrid Comp |
