Triumph garage.

hello folks.

if after a triumph friendly garage near brighouse/leeds/halifax/hudds basiclly yorkshire would be good.

had a few main dealer quotes and in not too keen on the 450 quid there wanting! so something a little cheaper would be nice.

Team Roberts in conisbrough. Its local for me but about an hour away for you though.... whats it for? is it worth an hours ride??

im after a 12k service that needs the valves checking. = ££££££££££££££££££££

I'd recommend A1 moto at york, but again that's main dealer (and probably where you've already tried).

yea cheers chap but im thinking 450 quid for a service is taking the pee a little?

Yet another dealer, but have you tried Triumph West Yorks in Shipley? They did the 12k service on the Sprint last year, and it was £330, including the cost of the MOT. Very good service, very helpful and actually charged me less than the quoted price.

But you've only just got the bike...bit mean of em not to service it for you before selling surely? Or am i missing something...

missyc yea but i got it privatly. it has been serviced well within schedule but it doesnt say whether the valves have been checked. you would have thourght so for a just shy of 300 quid service but the recieps dont detail anything. better safe than sorry and all that
