Default is this a world record?

I'v just changed the tax disc on my sv, procedure as follows.
1) Remove winter crud from microcsopicaly small nuts and bolts.
2) Undo nuts, and remove old tax disc.
3) Place new disc in position and re-attach microscopicaly small nuts with freezing cold fingers.
4) Realise I forgot to put the front of the TD holder back on.
5) Threaten cat not to laugh.
6) repeat steps 1 and 2.
7) Rant at non-plused neighbour about road tax and pot holes.
smoke (alot).
9) put new disc in to holder.
total time taken 43 mins. Is this a record?

Nope, never had tax disc on bike, always in wallet or under the seat tho it tends to get soggy n fall apart under the seat.
My number plate is also only held on by Velcro but then again i do frequently leave my bike on pavements in london and dont want the Govt approved money collectors sticking stickers on my bike telling me they want some of my heard earned.

lol

that is a good idea with number plate.

i guess the coppers know that you have the tax anyway by the computer so it cant be too much of a problem.

Yeh just be sure to use the heavy duty black velcro not the standard white stuff or else you'll spend more money in replacement plates than anything else.

And of course they can give you a fine for failing to display your tax or plate but they would have to be real a-holes to do that.

You "can" get done up to £1,000 for failure to display, but you are right. If you get pulled the copper already knows.

I've been spoken to a couple of times for various misdemeanors and they have mentioned it but taken it no further.
