Default Wiring sat nav into SV wiring

More specifically I want to wire it up into the ignition so I'm only drawing power when the ignition is switched on.

Where would you wire it to? to one of the wires coming off the ignition barrel which goes to the green connector under the tank?

Which wire? Negative to the frame I presume?

How to wire up, with one of those scotch lock quick connectors?

Its a Garmin Zumo sat nav, going onto a Curvy.

I can hard wire it to the battery which is within my capabilities, but after that I'm a bit lost, and I'd prefer it to stop drawing power, when I turn the ignition off

Cheers

Switched live from the fusebox?

Unfortunately I don't know what it would look like on a curvy.

You could wire it from the battery and have a switch on it, then you can draw the power only when you need it not all the time the bike is on.

OR fit a 12v cig socket so you can charge phone aswell etc etc.

Wire this, getting all you need from Maplin:

and get a 12V cigarette lighter socket, also from Maplin, and plug in your GPS.
