R&G's website shows their bungs in some pretty good detail, including some pics down the inside of the fairing.
Yours looks like a K3, btw.

no, 04 plate could be a late K3. K4s have a lower back end, different colours (no silver) and an S on the tank instead of the word "Suzuki". Not that it makes any difference to the fairings - these are pretty much the same on all pointies.

It's ok - silver K3s are the best bikes on the road, bar none

The R&G bungs mount on a bracket that replaces the stock fairing bracket - your curved broken bit of metal thing. They replace it with a really chunky bridge that goes between 2 engine bolts. The bung itself would end up in exactly the same place, so no you don't need new fairings.

The instructions that came with mine just said, K3 onwards so i assume yours would be the same.
I think the frame is the same on all pointys but there was some rear end changes i believe around the age of yours. All the lowers are same also so the bungs must be as well. |

R & G's will do the job fine. But... theres a product from a company called Motosliders that do the same if not better job and work out cheaper. Have a search on the forum for them. you shoudl find plenty of posts on the subject.
