Can some one tell me or show me(manual) how to adjust the throttle as im wanting to fit a r6 throttle tube and this is the only bit bothering me.
do i just do it so there is no tension on ether cables ?and do i test this buy the play in the throttle ? |

i decided against this mod ages ago because of the amount of people having problems with the throttle sticking :/

It won't stick if it's fitted properly - the problem is cluelessness.

Cables have adjustment threads at either end. If you can't figure that out...

![]() To try to answer breakz187's question (who bump this thread): When the throttle is closed all the way, there should be a little bit of slack on both cables, I think I can wiggle mine about a 1/4 inch total. Make sure to turn the bars full lock to lock and check the tension then too. I messed up on my first carb-reinstall a few years back... The cable would tighten just a hair when it was I had the bars turned far one direction. Took me a little while to figure it out while I was turning the bike around in idle, it would rev up a little! |
