the oil viscosity is a personal choice for speed and feel, as long as the spring weight is correct for you and the static sag is setup, then the the oil is your choice anything from 5w to 15w I'd suggest, as to air gap (how much oil to use) refer to the manual for that bike (the GSXR), a little under won't make much difference, but to much over will lead to a hydrolic lock and could pop the seals.
Cheers Mark.

Mark, 15W, are you serious? They will be like iron and not return at all.
I like silkolene RSF5, but something around 5 or 7w designation is OK. Idea with cartridge forks like that is you keep the oil the same and change the valving if you need to change behaviour. http://www.peterverdonedesigns.com/i...osity-Data.gif here is table. pick one around 25cSt

Find out what the reccomended viscocity for the forks on the GSXR is, and then pick something close to "suzuki" 15w/10w/5w as needed. set them to standard for a GSXR and then adjust as needed. I've found the PJ1 oil stocked by my local bike shop is a pretty dead on match for OE suzuki / kawasaki stuff using the peter verdone link posted by YC.
