Default Cycling the length of Ireland

Guys, as you will be aware, I lost my Granma last summer to cancer, started as lung and then tumours formed in her brain. Recently, a family friend died as a result of what started as Bowel Cancer.

One of my old school friends is, as a result of our friend dying, taking part in a mad cycle in order to raise funds for Marie Curie.

He will be cycling 667km from the very top of Ireland to the very bottom, starting on the 11 of Sept 2010. Which I think will be pretty good going!

He is looking to raise a minimum of £2000 pounds for the cause. If afford to spare something for a donation, be that 50p or £50 it all helps!

You all know Marie Curie are a very worth while cause so dig deep guys!!!!

Much appreciated Chris, thank you.

TBH, I think almost all of us on here will have been affected by cancer in some form or another.

Marie Curie nurses were there to help us when my Grandad was on his deathbed. Thanks to them we were able to care for him and see him off in a dignified manner at home.

A truly noble cause, I wish him the best of luck.
