Do any Orgers play?
I've decided after a number of years out to get back into it this year. I'm looking at racquets and wonder if anyone has any suggestions. Thinking around 105" headsize. Best deals seem to be at sportsdirect.com on Dunlops. How are these nowadays? |

LOL - 'fraid so.
Used to play fairly competively and want to get back into it to vary up an exercise routine. Time to make an effort... |

Funnily enough I have recently started to play again, sadly though not able to help out with the equipment makes as the ones I can get here are fairly restricted.

Played for 8 yrs or so but my ankle aches after one or two games so i don't bother anymore. IIRC, power & strength = head heavy racket and accuracy = head light. Bigger head is really if you are beginner/recently starting but 105 is about average.
And Wilson did me good, all my rackets bar my first were Wilson. A friend used Head rackets but they broke easily for some reason, they suited his style, meh. You can usually tell when you try swinging them about in the shop, tis the best way. Good luck! |

I like Wilson rackets, Hyper pro staff, but restrung very tight, best advice is to go to a decent sports shop and try holding some, grip size varies between makes, as does balance. Some shops will let you try out rackets. it depends how much you want to spend, but don't see many Dunlops now, usually Wikson, head, Yonex or Prince.
Also the weight of rackets varies, some just feel head heavy. try before you buy is the best advice. Daryl. |

Love it but don't know enough about rackets to advise. I have a Prince racket and have been told they're a good one to go with. My ma used to play it professionally so I listen to her...sometimes

Mrs Metal's parents are avid players.
Apparently playing too much makes your toenails fall off. Is this true? |
