Default Hump Backs - what are they for ?

Sorry, newbie question... and yes, I did search first, but all I got was loads about Oxford HumpBack tank bags etc.

Q: Humpbacks on jackets: Are they just aerodynamic or do they have any safety reasons ?

Yes just aero dynamic.
I imagine they could be more daangerous than anything in a crash.

Except the one that stores the Airbag in it - Dyanese

AFAIK they're also used to store the radios for the Moto GP riders, well from what I've seen anyway. I think the main design purpose is aerodynamics though

gp rider's don't wear radio's i don't think they distracted them too much when they tried them.

i remember the eurosport commentator's saying it one race why they didnt wear them that was why, i reckon it would be annoying though mid corner and some nob shout's you in to the pit could have you off.

I thought the ones in Motogp used camelbaks in their humps, for isotonic drinks.
