Default Cures for bikeless pangs?

Being the silly, headstrong young man I am, I assumed I'd pass my bike test first time, and accordingly sold my GPR50 and bought myself an SV. Being a silly boy I failed first and second time.

Now my third (and hopefully final) test is for 18th June, which is a loooong ol' way away, and I'm starting to get really strong pangs for the open road. I was very tempted to just jump on the SV and ride it around for a bit today, but thankfully I reined myself in.

Anyone know of any cures for bikelessness that won't get me arrested or killed?

Amsterdam? At least you might not get arrested there.

Time for a deep clean on the bike, take it to bits, clean everything to an immaculate perfection and slowly put it back together just how it should be done, with all of the correct greases, glues and torque settings. By the end of it, you will hate bikes so much you wont miss riding! Then you can take it out and get it filthy after passing your test.

Other options, hire a DAS instructor and go for a ride with them. You may need to sort your insurance first.

Get someone to take you pillion. I like being a passenger, all the excitement with none of the responsibility.

Ooh, that is cutting!

You wicked boy...

Pillion is always great fun though, that was how I went out on my Bike for the two years I owned it before passing my tests.

Now if you only had an inline 4 600cc instead of an SV. you could go out and ride it (once you'd disconnected 3 spark plugs)

He's right, I do need one.

Well, not need, but desire. The amount of time I spend thinking about that bike because I've got nothing else to think about... it's scary.

and mjc, I don't think my parents would appreciate a burnout on our new gravel driveway...
