Default Best Winter Gloves?

I know it's summer and everything but I have a pair of summer gloves and want to buy some new winter ones. I have been scouring the internet to try and find out which ones are the warmest whilst still being good for protection and being waterproof. Any ideas?

don't buy Akito Blast Gloves. They ain't waterproof or that warm!! I sold mine on ebay and bought some buffalo gloves which have been waterproof and warm but i only used them at back end of the winter not through the cold snap. To be honest no glove except heated are going to help below freezing. Muffs are a must and maybe heated grips

Held Extreme.

Brilliant, and do what they say on the tin....and they have a nice wiper thing built into the finger

As for muffs and heated grips....they're for big girls

They look rather snazy...

Looking for a new pair of winter gloves myself. Was disappointed by Spada Enforcers, the huge cuff was too big to go under my jacket sleeve, and water just pours in when you wear the cuff over the jacket sleeve. They do have a handy visor wipe though...

trust me bar muffs and heated grips are needed on a 35 mile commute in 6 inch of snow and lows of minus 12!!!! Granted the roads where gritted but it was one of a few scary one this year!!

Well they do tick all the boxes for me. Waterproof, dry, warm, white bits reflective, hard knuckles, grippy palms and flexible. Slightly chunky for ladies hands but did the Hardy Bikers last year in them fine. IIRC they are about 55 quid. Although for me they do have the cuffs a bit on the long side, but then I always have issues with gloves and my jacket.

I have a pair or EXO2 Stormshield heated gloves and they are great for those cold days. Worth every penny.

I used a pair of Dainese racing gloves throughout the winter and it was torture even of my 50cc scooter at 50mph. Now I've passed my test and will be getting me a nice SV650s I dread to think how cold my hands will get doing 70 on the dual carriageway.

I was reading before about the Alpinestars Jet Road gloves and it all seems very positive. Anyone else know if they are all that?

Scoosh - how do heated gloves work? Do they have a little storage compartment for hot coals or something?

I know a few of the old regulars that have had the Jet 2 gloves and all have had positive remarks about them
