Default The R6/R1 throttle tube on SV - what does it do?

Can someone please explain to me what this is and what is involved, and what are the benefits?

its not the throttle body that's modded- its simply swapping throttle tubes to open the throttles with less twistgrip action. makes throttle more responsive by increasing opening for a given turn on the grip.

I used the whole assembly, just seemed easier than modding one to suit the other and it was less than a tenner off Ebay. The only thing is if you need to make sure you have a little adjustment to spare in your cables as the R1 assembly that I used needed them to be a few mm longer, which I guess is because they have to go around a larger throttle tube.

it just requires less twist of the wrist to achieve a fully opened throttle which in turn means it becomes quite alot more sensitive when you're trying to control revs around town/filtering etc..
