New sv650s price!

Have you seen the price for a new one?

I know tis way, way over priced IMO
When i bought mine, it was supposed to be £5395, needless to say i haggled alot and got it for the same price the dealer brought it in at
Tbh, cause the SV is a bit outdated now its very easy to haggle and get em cheaper.
But that aint the point, i really dont think they should be that expensive in the first place.

RRP is 5599 + 120 for on the road = the pic.

But is anybody paying full wack for a new bike at the mo?

wow back in 2003 my sv was had for £4300 all in, brand new 0 miles. 7 years on and they have added £1000 thats amazing considering its nearly the same bike (and yes i know things cost more now bla bla bla...)

Bear in mind your K3 is a naked one, this is the fully faired K10 Sport model with the later twin plug head as well. Not too bad an increase in my opinion, when you take into account the 7 years difference. People are paying full whack for bikes, at least they are happy to buy without haggling when I'm selling them. I can't believe just how easy it is to sell new bikes right now, considering the political and economic climate we're living in.

We get more people haggling on used bikes than we do new ones, even though ours seem to be very reasonably priced

i got a new k8 a few year back and paid 3999 for a svs fully faried, so its a huge hike

The price for the sport is the price +road charges

I personally have seen a lot less newer used bikes this year.

The dealers around my area are selling more used bikes than ever and struggling to sell new bikes. But they are relieved that they are selling something after bad period.

A few years ago you could buy a brand new SS600 for £5000-£5500 provided you bought it late in the year or bought last years model.Imports were £500 cheaper.The SV 650S is an old model now and really should be piled high and sold cheap.I think that list price is a p1ss take
