Paint touch-up advice needed!

Hi,
Looking for some advice, well instructions really, on touching up my bikes paint work.

I have a couple of bits to do, one is a small scuff that's through the topcoat, but not the base coat. (On the subframe panel). The others are on the frame, one stonechip, one scuff about 4mm long by about 1mm wide, and one area about the size of a thumbnail where the poxy tax disc holder has damaged the paint to the point where it all flaked off when i cleaned the bike.

Ordered and received the paint from RS bike paint place, but didn't get any instructions, and the website doesn't give any either. My plan is to practice on a few bits of plate i have before letting myself loose on the bike!

Frame paint is matt black with matt lacquer, and I just bought the top coat/lacquer for the panel.

I know there are folk out there who will come to me and repair for a reasonable fee, i've used them before with good results. Thing is, I want to be able to do this for myself. Or at least give it a try!
