Hello,
Just looking for some advice, my front is a Pilot Power, it's just under 3k miles old, has 3mm left in the centre and about 4mm on the sides. The previous front (old PP) lasted about 6k. Obviously, there's still a fair bit of riding left in the tyre, however I have 1-2 weekend rideouts (400 miles total), and the GM3 (600miles) in plans. After that I'm away for a euro trip, roughly 3k miles. It's obvious I have to change it before the trip, but I'm not sure whether to change it before the GM? I've got 1 day off before I head out so I could book myself for a change on Monday. Or just change it before the GM? What do you think? Cheers |

Can you not change it Dizz and get the guy to hold onto the old 'un or take it away and re-fit it later?

I was thinking about taking the tyre back with me. There's still plenty of life in it just not for the euro trip.
I think I'll change it after this weekend just to be on the safe side, somehow I've had problems after both tyre changes on the Falco. |
