Default Bit of fun - wiring problem

OK - so, fitted my Gixer rear shock on Saturday, all good. Test ride yesterday, all good. Went to use the horn (Stebel Nautilus) today, all bad

So...for all you wiring guru's out there...what's the problem? I couldn't get a reading at the horn or relay with the meter, so put it on the battery side of the fuse holder...still no reading (ignition on, horn button pressed).

Answers in here please (I know the problem and will reveal it shortly)

First of all, what setting have you got that meter on?

Ignition/horn on or off shouldn't matter as those probes look they're measuring across the terminals of the battery (effectively), but as Darren hinted at, 'twould be better to have the gauge set to 20V DC instead of 200

Failing that, from memory the horn switch runs to earth so could be +ve cuurent applied to both poles of the relay??

taking for granted the biggest problem, i.e. it's a pointy

In my sheer stupidness....when I re-connected the battery....I forgot there was an additional connector wired in for the horn feed, which was hidden under the rubber terminal cover....DOH!
