I've just renewed my bike insurance. the price they sent me was reasonable but they hadn't included the claim made against me back in august so i asked about it, they said it was showing on there records a still pending so i have just insured with 5 years no claims and i knocked them down 40 quid
![]() ![]() ![]() i was asked if i had herd anything about it and i told them.... back in November you lot called me to ask my side of the story and i admitted liability just like i admitted liability at the scene and there has been absolutly no further contact since ![]() i have also noticed that the lights at the junction have been changed round so you can no longer see the others only your own ![]() wtf is going on? If it is still pending it is quite likely that the other side never contacted your insurers.
Check with your brokers where it is, I know they say it is still pending, but ask to speak to their claims team and see where it has progressed to. |

Yes there is a statute of limitation up to 2 years on a claim, however, if the other side has lodged a claim with their insurance company and they are just being stupidly slow then it could still go through after this time.
Real Answer: Speak to your claims team and find out what is going on. I know they put you on hold and it is a pain, but better to find out now then later. |
