Oh I've bought one although its not here yet as I bought it over Xmas while he was away. TBH I forgot I'd bought it until I looked at my ebay this morning. Christmas drinking and Ebay are a lethal concoction! I was just hoping t wasn't a load of ****e.

Yup, the one I had wasn't too bad. It needed a little bit of tweaking to get it to fit - but nothing major. Mine had no fixing holes, but the indentations were there so you can drill yer own.

If at first you don't succeed - use more gaffa tape.

The only problem with gel coat, is that it's a very smooth finish, and the primer doesn't adhere to it properly. I can guarantee that the paint will start flaking after a month or so, as the undertray will get a beating from the road carp that gets thrown at it!

PS. It doesn't matter how many coats of lacquer you apply to it either, it will eventually flake - please don't ask how I know this.

Sorry, but true.

I was thinking of just putting it on unpainted. It comes in black gel coat and my bike is black. I know it wont be colour matched but it'll be as near as dammit!

What are these like to fit, quite straightforward or lots of hacking about?

Thanks

The black gel coat one will look fine, as the shade under the bike will make it look colour-coded, especially a black one. Piece of phyiss to fit, just need to get the four black plastic pop rivets out, slide the under tray into place, and re-pop-rivet, IIRC? I seriously can't remember, as I did it so long ago.

HTH-all-the-same.
