If you're not too hard on the throttle you'll get around 20 miles from flashing light to solid light. After the solid light...I don't know - I've put petrol in by then.

I noticed the lack of a fuel gauge too on my 02.
Was told 30-40 miles from blink to empty. |

about 30 but remember then your putting the "dirty fuel" through the carbs at that point, but saying that i have done 190 mile on 1 tank a task i hope to never try to repeat

How much can you guys fit in the tank?
Mine started blinking for the first time and I could only cram £12 in. I suppose a better question would be, what size is the tank? |

16 litres for a curvy and US pointy, 17 litres for a European pointy.

rule of thumb the light is 3-4 litres remaining, and as dave has said u'll be starting to pull all the cr*p through that sits at the bottom.
Europe tanks sizes are 16l on a curvy and 17 for the pointy, with the low fuel as stated I work on 25 miles to empty and trust me it nail biting when you have to do it.
