been offered a set of tl1000 fork with uprated internals just wondering whether they would fit (and be suitable) for a pointy SV650S?

They can be made to fit. What have they done to the internals?

TL forks are kayaba internals. Not the best. Unless they have some complete aftermeerket cartridges inside I would buy SRAD ones instead (or later)

TL forks are heaver too as they are larger than SRAD forks but they do have one upside that they are longer than the SRAD forksm but you would need a TL bottom yoke vs an SRAD one due to the lower fork diameter

Would be an up side, but the SRAD forks being shorter is not a downside
