Default New bike!

Now I know it's not an Sv, perhaps I'm no longer allowed to be a member of this forum as I didn't buy a Triumph as my next bike! I thought I just post a couple of pictures of my new bike before I get chucked out of the Forum!

Hope you all like it

What are you doing!

Never put your crash helmet on the seat, i learnt the hard way, doubt you'll want near enough £500 quids worth of lid blown off your bike and bouncing on the floor

Lovely bike

You say you were thinking of a triumph? I am assuming it would have been the sprint GT?

What made to choose this bike over a triumph if you don't mind me asking, just curious

Cheers

I was looking to buy the sprint ST. I had a go on one and for some reason it just didn't do it for me. I tried to talk myself into it and even had another test ride booked for the ST and GT.

Then I went for a ride on this bike and found it amazing. To be honest it's probably too much. Lots more features than the ST or GT, traction control, ABS, heated grips, full on board computer that even tells you tyre presure and the best bit...quick shifter (gear shift assits in BM language).

The other major thing...no chain.

The BM is a lot more money but it's alot more bike, well I think so, better bike than the VFR1200 also I rode.

In that case you should also have a BMW nappy too. Or is that for the older owners???

I looked at the naked 1300 R last year but it cost way to much, nearly double what i paid for my CB1000r. It was alos a lot of work to throw between corners. Very well built and put together machine though.
