Default Marks on tank - why and what can I do about it?

Hi, just done 300 plus miles on my shiney Nebular Black SV and already there are white marks on the side of the tank where I have been holding with my knees.

What do others use to stop this? Or is it just me hanging on too tight?

Had a quick look on ebay and seen something called a StompGrip! anybody using these?

Yeah you can buy pads for the side of the tank, also covers.

I've never had one but this is probably your best bet.

Clear film is the way to go mate, I had same problem on my black sprint, I bought a venture shield kit.
Make sure you polish it properly before putting it on tho as it will show the scratches if you don't.
