Smile New to this SV malarkey...

Hi, as a long time Kwak fan, I have just got me an SV, yeah, the curvy (ugly?) one, off a mate at work, who has TWO GS850's (one with a tow ball??) and a Kwak Z250 in his garage!

It's in a rather fetching Metallic lime green (yeah, I know!) but is a Triumph colour, Roulette Green! Have to say, I like it!

OK, me last bike was a ZRX1200S which I miss dearly, but I am really chuffed with the SV! It's fast enough, a LOT nimbler round the bends and has a lovely V-Twin sound over 5,000 RPM! Vermin, me 17 yr old daughter is happy on the back as well, so all good etc!

Come the winter, I will need a pair of front brake discs, pads, might as well powder coat the wheels and fit progressive fork springs/new oil.. and fertle about with the cosmetics, but I'm not into the 'fashion show' side of biking, I just like to ride a bike for me!

Ok, that's me lot.. If I can figure out how/be bothered to post pics I will , in the meantime I'll just welcome meself to the site etc.. Thanks to all who offer good advice and have a great rest of the riding season!

Welcome to the might .org

There is a very large number of people who know a ridiculous amount about bikes, so you'll find everything you need on hee somewhere, and plenty to keep you occupied in general

Prepare to progressively spend more and more of your time on this site

The door's over there....

Dont listen to ravingdavis - his taste in bikes is shocking...

Glad you're having fun with the SV tho,

Your daughter will be sitting her test soon so she can take it out then...
