Few pics from Wigan test day

It was the first time I had been on track since December last year & boy was I rusty. I had also fitted an R6 shock to the little FZR & set it to settings advised by Performance Bikes mag.................Boy were they a long way out. I was doing about 7 laps, coming into the pits totally shattered, so near the end of the session I reset it back to factory settings & it transformed the bike completely, it was actually fun to ride. I now need to work on my times as I was about 3 seconds a lap slower than last year, but stayed upright & had fun.














I also took my camera & took some shots of other riders. Getting used to the new cam now.












This lad is 12 years old on an 80cc bike & was showing 600s how to take corners, he was so fast & smooth.

I am sure even rusty you were still faster than your first time there.

Times were getting better Tim, which pleased me. I was a bit cheesed off with 3 Sisters. There was a hole in the Tarmac just on the exit of Lunar which was just on the racing line, they left filling it in until half 2 in the afternoon, absolutely pathetic, the track was empty all day yesterday.
I also let my son loose on my bike, he is very aggressive on the bike & my tyres now look decidedly ragged, but hey ho, we had fun which is the main thing & all for £25 each
