Default Im a complete prat :(

Got up this morning, shower, brew, bike gear on, unlocked bike chain, helmet on, on bike, off to work....

Made it about 2 foot out of the bike shed when I heard the sound of chains scraping along the floor.
Now the shed aint haunted with chain dragging ghosts so only 1 other explanation.

I've left the chain through the wheel

Its now completely jammed and I have had to leave the bike half in the shed and half out on the paddock stand.

Off to work I go in a bad mood and have the pleasure of paying £10 in a taxi

At least it is a change to the disc lock clunk WTF, Doh!

So I assume you are going to go all girly and ask him indoors to undo your ham fistedness?

Still you didn't end up in a ball, so there are some good outcomes.

Its a job for Pops when he gets up not that he knows it yet.
The Mother has had to take the morning off work now as can leave the bike shed doors open because there's 2 other bikes in there aswell as mine (that's half in there!)

Sorry, you are only a partial pratt. If you were a complete pratt you would have ridden off and fell over. So count your chickens that it didnt happen!

This is also why i dont chain my bike in anyway. I WILL forget.

Just had an update - he's managed to free the chain, disk is still straight and break calipers need tightening.

Could have been worse, if I hadn't unlocked it then I would have pulled my Dads gsxr 750 over :s
If that had happened ther title to this thread would be "I am a complete, homeless, prat'
