hi people,
i have receive from a friend a fuel tank to put on my SV650 - 99 but she have a *"knock" on it ![]() so i will bring this one to a painter, but before i will remove all the paint and fix this knock.
another tips / links ? thx a lot people. (i will post picture when it will be done) *knock: sorry my english suck ![]() |

Would have thought you would be better off with filler than fiberglass but I'm no expert.
P.s The word you are looking for is 'dent', and your english is a whole lot better than my French/Dutch! |

Orbit sander worked for me... dent I had was bigger and on the side of the tank.
I used "plastic padding" fibreglass reinforced filler, it worked well. Painter will know what to use if you are not sure.
