Well my lovely CBR600RR7 is off to a new owner this week, sort of sad to see it go, but it does mean that I have the option of going out and getting something different.
But what? I only do 12ish miles each way to work between 3 & 5 times a week (mixture of low-ish speed filtering and dual carriage way max speed 70) and almost never go for a social blast or ride just for fun. Loved the ease of filtering on the CBR due to it being small and lightweight. So what should it be, want to try and not spend all of the CBR money so perhaps a £2.5k limit? |

Ah...Mr.Red Herring, an SV would be nice but only a Red one, which is sort of supermoto style with a GSXR front end. I know someone who has one, but doubt very much it would be for sale nor for that matter £2.5k...
...but if it was I would be very interested. |

Supermoto as that would have you grinning from ear to ear to and from work me thinks though I am not entirely sure what you can pick in your price bracket.
Is it something that is going to be used all year round? |

![]() I've never really been a fan of scooters, they just look so boring and dull to ride, although i understand thats what commuting is about most of the time. I've also thought that riding a scooter looks as though one is having a number 2 whilst reading a paper. I think all the 16 year olds in stripey jumpers, trackie bottoms and no helmets on have led to a bit of an unjustified hatred towards scooters in general.
