Default Copying keys?

Hi All,
This has probably come up before but i thought i'd ask.
When i bought my bike, unfortunately it only came with the 1 key, I was wondering if the key is coded at all for an imobiliser or if it can be simply copied at any goot key cutting service?
Currently my key is a little bent and i'd rather protect myself witha second to reduce the risk of snapping the one and being without any keys for the bike.

I'm not interested at the moment of replacing the whole locking kit although that might come up in the future.

There you go, i bought another one only yesterday, timpsons can do it, even if they think they cant. They did mine for free as he wasnt convinced it would work.

your best bet to look on Yell and find either a Safe firm as they can copy virtually all keys or a autokey cutter

Or just pop into the local key cutters/cobblers. As long as they've got a suitable blank they should be able to copy it no problem.
