Default Veypor

Finally got round to fitting the Veypor I got last year to my 700.

One bit of old 2mm aluminium

Old piece of 2mm aluminium

Make up a spacer for the back

Spacer made up for Veypor

A bit of work and one bracket

Bracket fitted

From the back

and here's the 'riders eye' view.

Just need to properly wire it up now, I just nicked power from the temp gauge for the pictures.

In what regard? The tacho is turned slightly to the right (the Elliot isn't horizontal), and its turned in (towards the rider) and up slightly (the back isn't actually flat but is angled). It's tight as hell where it is, the fairing (while not fitted atm) is about 5mm away from the top left corner, the clutch cable misses the front by about 10mm! Made it rather tricky to fit and I don't think the camera helps.

Should do, its a calculated one from rpm and wheel speed.

It's even meant to work out fuel consumption based on riding history which I find amazing. We'll see.

Ahh it's maybe just an optical illusion

I care not for mpg (apart from a curiosity POV). If I did we'd sell the RX-8, buy a diesel and drive slowly.

It does get though a depressing amount of petrol on track days though, I estimate mid-teens...

I wonder if we could make oil from hippies?

Sure

We'd need to grind them up and ferment them, then reform the methane produced into other hydrocarbon stuff. Seems like a plan... could even use the THC and little-red-book rich sludge left over as fertiliser on some sort of organic farm to produce more hippies!

A very heavily modified curvy SV650S and its a veypor VR2 - http://www.veypor.com/ Essentially its a datalogger, tracks acceleration, speed, rpm and gives all sorts of figures out. Plus it doubles up as a speedo.
